Question 172559
I really need help simplifing complex fractions.
4+2/x / x/4+1/8 can you help?

{{{(4+(2/x))/((x/4)+(1/8))}}}
in first step you have to find common denominator for
{{{4+(2/x)=4x/x+(2/x)= (4x+2)/x= 2(2x+1)/x}}}
and
{{{(x/4)+(1/8)=(2x/8)+(1/8)=(2x+1)/8}}}
then you get:

{{{(2(2x+1)/x)/((2x+1)/8)}}}
to divide fractions it means you have to multiply first by inverse of second
{{{(2(2x+1)/x)*(8/(2x+1))}}}= {{{16/x}}}
