Question 169642
When solving this equation i am lost on the last step.Use the quadratic formula to solve the equation; .I have used the problem solver but it doesn't show the math involved between the last two steps.
-----------------------
{{{m^2-12=m}}}
{{{m^2-m-12=0}}}
(m-4)*(m+3) = 0
For the product to be zero, one or both of the binomials must be zero.
m-4 = 0
m = 4
-----------
m+3 = 0
m = -3
--------
I'm not sure what steps you mean, but that's the solution.
