Question 169070
I need to find the slope of a line parallel to each line. Rewrite the equation in the form y = mx + b if necessary.
1/3y = 2/3x - 4/3 ( I got an answer of 2 for the slope, but I'm not sure I did it right and there are no examples)
another one is 3y = -15x + 6 ( I got -5 for the slope) just let me know if they're right or what I'm doing wrong, please.
.
To rewrite:
1/3y = 2/3x - 4/3
in the form of:
y = mx + b
.
multiply both sides by 3:
y = 2x - 4
.
And, yes, your slope is 2.

Your second one is correct also!
