Question 23646
did you mean y=-3/2x-4?
even if you didn't i will use this example to try to help you. To get the x and y intercept is really quite easy once you can remember this. It took me forever, then a college professor told me to just remember to change y to zero and solve for x when I was looking for the x intercept the answer will then plug into (x,0) do the same when you look for the y intercept, change the x to zero and solve for y the plug your answer into the points (0,y). plot those two points on your graph. Then using your slope ( in this example it is -3/2) rise over run. it is neg so go down three and over 2 from one of the other points. See if this helps you. If not, email me and I will give you detailed instructions. But I think you can do it. Remember to put your problem in y=mx+b form, and m is always your slope.
