Question 23683
When a product of numbers is equal to zero, then one (or more) of the numbers MUST be zero. This is called the PRODUCT PROPERTY of EQUATIONS.

In this equation:(2x-3)(3x+2)(x-2)(x-7/8)=0 you have four quantities in a product, so set each factor equal to zero and solve:

(2x-3)(3x+2)(x-2)(x-7/8)=0

First solution:
2x-3 = 0
2x=3
x={{{3/2}}}

Second solution:
3x+2 = 0
3x= -2
x={{{-2/3}}}

Third solution:
x-2=0
x=2

Fourth solution:
x-{{{7/8}}} = 0
x= {{{7/8}}}
