I don't think there is enough information given in this problem to answer it.  You are given that 50% of the students eat in the cafeteria, and 10% play sports, but no information is given about how many of the cafeteria students play sports or vice-versa.  In other words it could be that NONE of the sports people eat in the cafeteria, or it could be that they ALL do.  It's just not given.
