Question 164976
some things in math can be that way. when your searching for slope and intercept there is a format you must rewrite the equation to match. The format is y=mx+b where m is the slope and b is the y intercept. re writing our equation we subtract 7x and add 28 to both sides. everything on the left cancels out except y and now we have -7x+28 on the right so y=-7x+28 an this is in the right format slope is the number that is multiplied by x so m=-7
and the y intercept is b=28

slope       = -7
y-intercept = 28
