Question 22387
You probably need to visit my BRAND NEW Lesson Plans on Positive and Negative Exponents in the Exponents section of the algebra.com lesson plans. They are complete with DETAILED explanations, examples, exercises, and answers to ALL the exercises!

{{{(b^2 * c^-3)/(b^-3 * c^2)}}}

When you divide with the same base number you must subtract exponents.

{{{b^(2-(-3)) * c^(-3-2)}}}

{{{b^5 * c^-5 }}}

However, you never leave an answer with negative exponents!
Remember that {{{c^-5 = 1/(c^5) }}}. (If you DON'T remember this, then see my lesson plan on negative exponents ASAP!!)
{{{b^5 * c^-5 }}}
{{{b^5 *(1/(c^5)) }}}
{{{(b^5) / (c^5) }}}
