Question 160242
For this equation I need to solve the inequality, state the solution set in interval notation and sketch it's graph.
1 <3x - 2<7

Add 2 along the line to get:
3 < 3x < 9

Divide by 3 along the line to get:
1 < x < 3
-------------
Interval notation: (1,3)
--------------
Draw a number line.
Label two points 1 and 3
Draw an open circle around each of those points.
Connect the points with a line segment.
That is the graph.
