Question 160201
 I do not know if I have the right spot or not. I should remeber how do to this but I don't
2/3 X 6/7 + 5/8 Divided by 1 3/4
Can you please help me!
<pre><b>

{{{2/3}}}×{{{6/7}}}+{{{5/8}}}÷{{{1}}}{{{3/4}}}

First change mixed number/fraction {{{1}}}{{{3/4}}} as {{{7/4}}}

{{{2/3}}}×{{{6/7}}}+{{{5/8}}}÷{{{7/4}}}

Invert the {{{7/4}}} as {{{4/7}}} and change the ÷ to ×

{{{2/3}}}×{{{6/7}}}+{{{5/8}}}×{{{4/7}}}

Do the first multiplication first by multiplying
numerators and denominators:

{{{12/21}}}+{{{5/8}}}×{{{4/7}}}

Reduce {{{12/21}}} by dividing top and bottom by {{{3}}}

{{{4/7}}}+{{{5/8}}}×{{{4/7}}}

Do the first (only) multiplication by multiplying
numerators and denominators:

{{{4/7}}}+{{{20/56}}}

Reduce {{{20/56}}} by dividing top and bottom by {{{4}}}

{{{4/7}}}+{{{5/14}}}

The LCD is 14, so make the first fraction have a denominator
of 14 by multiplying top and bottom by 2

{{{(2*4)/(2*7)}}}+{{{5/14}}}

{{{8/14}}}+{{{5/14}}}

{{{13/14}}}
