Question 154121
i need help to factorize x^6 - 7x^3 -8 i know the answer its (x-2)(x+2x+4) (x^2-x +1) but i didnt understand how to solve the sum, please help and thanks
-------------------
x^6 - 7x^3 -8

= (x^3-8)(x^3+1)
The 1st factor is a difference of squares.
The 2nd factor is a sum of squares.
-----------------------
= (x-2)(x^2+2x+4)(x+1)(x^2-x+1)
