Question 149920
there is a diagram of a triangle
one side is = 1, another side is = 4 and there is 100 degree angle
which is opposite side C.
I am looking for the value of side C

-----------------------------------
C would be the 3rd side.
Use the Law of Cosines:
c^2 = a^2 + b^2 - 2ab*cos(C)
c^2 = 1^2 + 4^2 -2*1*4*cos(100)
c^2 = 1.38918...
c = 4.28826...
