Question 149543
Please help me solve this, I don't understand it!
The point (1,-1) in rectangular coordinates is the same as what point in polar coordinates.
Thank you, Natalie
-----------
Polar coord use a distance from the origin and an angle.
Graph this point at (1,-1). Draw a line to it from the origin. That's the distance, and it's sqrt(2).
The angle is measured from the x-axis, so here it's -45 degs or +315.
