Use the above chart, which shows the results of a survey in which 1094 adults were asked why they don’t always eat healthy food. Find the probability of randomly selecting an adult from the sample who feels that healthy foods have high cost OR are hard to find.
-------------------
P(A or B) = P(A) + P(B) - P(A and B)
Your problem:
P(high cost or hard to find) = P(high cost) + P(hard to find) - 0
= (58/1094) + (28/1094) = 86/1094 = 0.0786...
