Question 141996
Find the slope m of 3x - y = 2.  Put the eqn in the form y=mx + b
3x - y = 2
-y = -3x + 2
y = 3x -2
So the slope is 3.
A line parallel will have the same slope of 3
Use (y -y1) = m(x-x1) where x1 and y1 are the known point (2,-3)
y+3 = 3(x-2)
y+3 = 3x-6
y = 3x-9
3x - y = 9
