Question 143732
Draw a circle within a circle. Label the inside circle A for Actresses, and the outside circle label B for Beautiful. In this way, you can see that ALL actresses are contained inside the "beautiful" circle.

Now, "Some Actresses are Tall", so draw another circle that intersects with the A circle. Draw it in every possible way, but remember--it must somehow intersect the A circle. Label this third circle T for Tall.

Now, is it possible to draw this circle in such a way that it does NOT touch or go into the B circle? Then you can conclude that in ALL possible cases, there MUST be an overlap of the B and T circle. Therefore, "some beautiful people are tall" is VALID.
