Question 143037
A furniture buyer has ordered 100 grandfather clocks from an overseas manufacturer.
Four clocks are damaged in shipment, but the packaging shows no indication of such damage.
Note: 96 clocks are not damaged.
------------------
If a dealer buys 6 clocks without examining the contents, what is the probability that she does not have a damaged clock?
----------------------------
P(6 undamaged from 100) = 96C6/100C6 = 927048304 /1192052400 = 0.77769...
