Question 139829
I would say that if the circle is increased by a factor of 1/4, then it is NOW a radius of 6 PLUS 1/4 of 6. This would be 6 + 3/2, which would be 15/2. So this makes {{{r^2 = 225/4}}}, and the equation would be {{{ (x+5)^2+(y+3)^2 = 225/4}}}. I'm not sure how you arrived at 9/4 in your equation, but the circle must be STRETCHED, so now the larger r^2 must be LARGER than 36. Do you see what I am saying??
