Question 138291
Surface area of what? Sphere? Cone? Cylinder? Cube? Rectangular Prism? Pyramid? In general, the surface area of a solid is the sum of the areas of the plane faces. For a sphere, {{{4*pi*r^2}}}, for a cone {{{pi*r*s}}} where r is the radius of the base and s is the slant height or {{{pi(rs+r^2)}}} if you want to include the area of the base. Right circular cylinder is {{{2rh}}} where r is the radius of the base and h is the height, or {{{2rh+2*pi*r^2}}} if you want to include the area of the bases. Please be more specific about what you want in the future. It is very difficult for us to guess at what you need when you give so little information.
