Question 137101
First of all u need to pick any value of x (ranges) that u wants the corresponding values of y.The value of y is the outcome of the equation if u plug in the corresponding value of x.
As an example-If we say the value of x ranges from -2 to 3 (this means -2,-1,0,1,2,3) will be on the table as the value of x. Simultaneously we have to find the corresponding value of y by plugging this value of x in the equation given.

When I compute this.This is what I got(the below table)

x	  -2	-1	0	1	2	3
Y=(-6x-4)  8	 2     -4       -10     -16      -22

How do we get these values.
For x values- remeber u have to pick any values that u intended to use depends on what u are doing. If u are constructing a graph your the range of x might be given in the question if not u have to pick x ranges by yourself.
In the above cases we picked x = -2 to 3 (for our computational purpose)

For Y values- all u need to do is to substitute the values of x in the equation given to get the coressponding values of y.
examples as in our computations above.

When x= -2

y= -6x-4
so substitute -2 for x in the equation.
we get =  y= -6(-2) - 4
           y= 12 -4
           y= 8

Similarly, when x = -1
 y = -6x - 4
    = -6(-1)-4
     = 6 -4
      = 2

If u put all the x values you will get the corresponding values of y.
These are what u are looking for in your question.

I hope this helps.
