You can put this solution on YOUR website!
5%28x%2B3%29=3%282x-1%29
5x%2B15=6x-3%29
5x-6x=-3-15
-1x=-18
x=18
Check answer:
5%28x%2B3%29=3%282x-1%29
5%28%2818%29%2B3%29=3%282%2818%29-1%29
5%2821%29=3%2836-1%29
5%2821%29=3%2835%29

------------------------------
Let the number be "x".
EQUATION:
5(x+3) = 3(2x-1)
5x+15 = 6x-6
