You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Hi there,
Car can go 340 miles on 16 gallons
Planned Vacation will be 1,700 miles.
1,700/340 = 5
So 1,700 miles will use 5 x 16 gallons
1,700 miles will use 80 gallons of gas.
Hope this helps :-)

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
So 340+340=680 and 16+16=32
Since we didn't make it to the 1,700 miles yet, we do it again.
680+340=1,020 32+16=48
And we do it again.
1,020+340=1,360 48+16=64
And again.
1,360+340=1,700 64+16=80
So that would be your answer.
80
