You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Distance = speed * time
time is x for helicopter
it is x+1.5 for train, units in hours.
distance at overtaking is the same.
80*(x+1.5)=120(x)
80x+120=120x
120=40x
3=x
3 hours, and the time is 12:30 pm ANSWER
The helicopter will have gone 360 miles
The train will have traveled 4.5 hours@80 mph, or 360 miles.
