Question 998745: If Miguel Cabrera has 24 at bats in the World Series (not this year) and gets 9 hits, in what percent of his at bats did he get a hit? ( the decimal form would be his batting average)
I did this,
9/24 = .375 and moved the decimal 2 spaces to the right to get 37%
is this correct? Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! yes, you are correct. I would say 37.5% instead of 37%. If you must round to the nearest whole percent, then 37.5% rounds to 38%
