.
1%2F2*12*(x+6) <= 72,

x + 6 <= %2872%2A2%29%2F12 = 12.

x <= 12 - 6 = 6,

x = 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.

Hey, the area is measured in in%5E2, not in inches.

The area of a triangle= bh/2. Substitute
12(x+6)/2 ≤ 72
12(1/2x+3) ≤ 72
6x+36 ≤ 72
6x ≤ 72-36
6x ≤ 36 Divide both sides by 6
x ≤ 6
x|x ≤6 (read: x, where x is equal or smaller than 6)
