Question 997345: I can not work this problem.
4 3/4 (3/4 is the exponent)
I understand how to work one like this.
4 1/2 (1/2 is the exponent)=2
Or
8 1/3 (1/3 is the exponent)=2
I would appreciate your help. Thanks so much.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
4^(3/4) is the fourth root of 4^3 or the 4th root of 64.
4^(3/4)=2^2(3/4), since 2^2=4
This is 2^(3/2)=sqrt(2)^3
2 sqrt(2)=about 2.828.
That is the fourth root of 64^3.
