You can put this solution on YOUR website!
rs 35000 * (1/7) = rs 5000 ( the original value of the spoiled wheat )
the amount of unspoiled wheat is ( 6/7 ) * 35000 = 30000
**
The spoiled wheat is sold for a discount of 25%
(1 - 25%) * 5000
0.75 * 5000 = 3750
The remaining unspoiled wheat rs 30000 sells at a gain of 10%
(1 + 10%) * 30000
1.10 * 30000 = 33000
The total sales for the spoiled and unspoiled is 3750 + 33000 = 36500
The wheat was purchased for rs 35000 so
the gain is (36500 - 35000)/35000 = 1750/35000 = 0.05 or 5%
