Simultaneas equations
Y=2x-1
Y=x+1
&
Y=3x-2
Y=x+4

These equations are two (independent) systems of equations. If you need to solve these equations, then

1. system%28y=2x-1%2C%0D%0Ay=x%2B1%29.

Since the left sides are equal, the right sides are equal too. It gives

2x - 1 = x + 1,
x = 2.

Substitute it into the first equation of the system and find y.

2. Solve the second system by applying the same approach. It is very easy!
