Let numerator’s tens digit be S

Then numerator’s units digit is: S + 2

We then get: S + S + 2 = 12

2S = 10

S, or numerator's tens digit = 10%2F2, or 5

Numerator's units digit: 5 + 2, or 7 

Numerator: 57



Since denominator is a multiple of the numerator, then denominator = 57x, with x being the multiplicative factor

We then get: 57 + 57x = 285

57x = 285 – 57

57x = 228

Therefore, denominator = 228
