When two angles add to 90°, we say they "complement" each other, or they are complementary angles
so, alpha%2Bbeta=90°
if angles are equal, means beta=alpha and we have
alpha%2Balpha=90°
2alpha=90°
alpha=90%2F2°
alpha=45°=> means beta=45°
the measure of each is 45°
