Question 993951: What are the solutions of -4(3x-5)+x<-2y-27 when y=4
Answer by Boreal(15235) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! -4(3x-5)+x<-2y-27
y=4
-12x+20+x<-8-27
-11x+20<-35
-11x<-55;; divide by -11 and change the inequality
x>5
===
Check
-4(10.01)+5<-35
-40.04+5 < -35
-35.04<-35
I used 10.01, but any number greater than 10 will work, If x=5, 10 would work.
