You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.
Let x be the speed of the faster car, in kilometers per hour (km%2Fh).
Then the speed of the other car is (x-10) km%2Fh.

We have an equation

100%2F%28x-10%29 - 100%2Fx = 3%2F4

(the ratios in the left sides are times for each car, time = distance%2Fspeed).

Now simplify and solve this equation. Multiply both sides by 4*x*(x-10).

400x - 400*(x-10) = 3*x*(x-10).

4000 = 3x%5E2 - 30x,

3x%5E2 - 30x - 4000 = 0.

Can you solve this quadratic equation?
