You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x%2F%28x+%2B+2%29%3C5
recall, denominator cannot be equal to zero; so,
if
x+%2B+2%3E0 =>x%3E-2
now find x that makes x%2F%28x+%2B+2%29=5
x%3C5%28x+%2B+2%29
x=5x+%2B+10
-10=5x+-x
-10=4x
-10%2F4=x
x=-5%2F2=> x must be lees than -5%2F2
so, your solution is: x%3E-2 and x%3C-5%2F2
in interval notation:
(-2, infinity)
(-infinity, -5%2F2)
