You can put this solution on YOUR website! In which set of ordered pairs is y a function of x?
Note:: Not a function if some value of x has more than one y value.
A
{(1.25, 6), (3, 6), (5.75, 6), (11, 6)}
function
------------------
B
{(2, –15), (3, –12), (4, –10), (4, –8)}
not a function because x = 4 has two different y values
------------------
C
{(6, 1), (3, 8), (3, 9), (6, 12)}
Not a function because x = 3 has two different y values
------------------
D
{(6.5, 10), (6.5, 0), (6.5, 9), (6.5, 12)}
Not a function because x = 6.5 has many different y values
