Let the age of Romulo be x and the age of his nephew be y.
Romulo is twice as old as his nephew
=>x=2y
sum of their ages is 108
=>x+y=1080----(1)
Now substituting x=2y in (1)
2y+y=108=>3y=108=>y=108/3=36=>y=36yrs
x=2(36)=72=>x=72yrs
Therefore the age of Romulo=72years and age of his nephew =36years
