You can put this solution on YOUR website! The math club took a field trip to see a movie. A total of 45 people went on the trip, including students, teachers, and parent chaperones. There were 5 more parents than teachers. Movie tickets cost $11, but the students got a discount and only had to pay $7 each. The group paid a total of $335 to get everyone in. Determine how many students, how many teachers, and how many parents went on the trip. -----
 s + t + p = 45
 p = t+5
 11(p+t)+7s = 335
 -----
 Rearrange::
 s + t + p = 45
 0 - t + p = 5
 7s+11t+11p = 335
 ------------------------
 Solve by any method to get:
 s = 40
 t = 0
 p = 5
 ----------
