You can put this solution on YOUR website! 20) (2.5,2) SORRY A SLOPE INTERCEPT EQUATION CANNOT BE FORMED USING ONE X,Y CORDINATE.
---------------------------------------------------------------
22) (4,3)(7,-2) HERE WE CAN DEFINE THE SLOPE (Y2-Y1)/(X2-X1)
(-2-3)/(7-4)=-5/3 IS THE SLOPE (m)
NOW USING ONE SET OF X,Y POINTS & THIS SLOPE OF -5/3 WE USE THE LINE FORMULA [Y=mX+b] TO FING THE Y INTERCEPT (b).
3=4*-5/3+b
3=-20/3+b
b=3+20/3
b=(9+20)/3
b=29/3 SO THE LINE EQUATION WITH A SLOPE OF -5/3 THROUGH THESE TWO POINTS IS:
Y=-5X/3+29/3
(graph 300x200 pixels, x from -6 to 8, y from -10 to 10, y = -5x/3 +29/3).
