f(x) = x^2 - 3x is a parabola and polynomial. The domain of a polynomial is all real numbers.
To find the reals we want to omit from the domain of f(x) = x^2 - 3x:

x^2 - 3x is x(x-3) = 0

Therefore, x = 0 and x-3 = 0 --> x = 3

So the domain is all real numbers except {0,3}.
