Question 988812: Hello tutor. I have searched about Functions, Domain and Range in many websites but I'm not able to understand the concept. They've said that function is a relationship with two types of variables. Domain is the set of inputs and range is the set of outputs. Can you please explain it to me in an easier manner about what this is actually about? Thank you so much!

Hi dear,
Fuction is a relationshop between two variables(dependent and independent) such that for every value of independent variable,there is only one unique value of dependent variable.
The set of value(s) that independent variable assumes is called the domain of the fuction while the unique value(s) of dependent variable is called the range which is reffered as an output of the fuction.
