You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.
x=Charles' rate of speed
Assuming Charles is 3mph faster than David
.
Since times are the same:
205mi/x=190/x-3 Cross multiply.
205mi(x-3mph)=190mi(x)
205mi(x)-615mi^/hr=190mi(x)
15mi(x)=615mi^2/hr
x=41mph
ANSWER: Charles traveled at 41 mph.
