Make length = 'x'
Width = 3x
Perimeter = 2 x Length + 2 x Width
36 = 2(x) + 2(3x)
36 = 2x + 6x
36 = 8x
x = 36/8
x = 4.5m
Length = 4.5m
Width = 13.5m
