First thing is to get your terminology correct. A number is not a -intercept. An intercept is a point and a point is identified by, in the context of what you are dealing with here, an ordered pair. in this context is the -coordinate of the -intercept.
The slope-intercept form is . All you have to do is plug in the numbers.
As for the sketch, find the -intercept, that is the point . That is your starting point. You have a negative fraction for a slope. Since it is negative, you are going to go DOWN as you move RIGHT. You are going to move DOWN the number of units in the numerator of the fraction and RIGHT the number of units in the denominator of your fraction. You only need to do this DOWN/RIGHT process once, but you can repeat it as often as you like. Draw a straight line through all of the points you have marked.
