Presuming that the 6th test is of equal weight to the first 5, that is, the 6th test isn't a final exam that counts as two tests or some other such scheme, then the total score for all 6 tests must be 6 times 81 in order to have an average of 81.

Aldo has scored
83, 69, 92, 92, and 90on his previous five tests, to have an average (mean) of 81, he will need
%2883%2B69%2B92%2B92%2B90%2Bx%29%2F6=81....solve for x
83%2B69%2B92%2B92%2B90%2Bx=81%2A6
426%2Bx=486
x=486-426
x=60
