Question 987669: Draw a graph of a function f: [0, 5] --> R which is positive, increasing, and concave down (positive and increasing at a decreasing rate)
I don't understand how I am meant to find the points on said graph from the given information.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! The instructions say, "draw a graph". The instructions do not say, "find a function" nor "find an equation". Just sketch something on a cartesian system which works. Your point at x=0 must be of a lesser y value than the point at x=5. The part of the instruction, "concave down" seems not the best specification. Try thinking of this more as CONCAVE TO THE RIGHT. Note also that because the function must be increasing on the interval [0,5], the y value at x=5 must be the greatest value for the function.
An example of a function which can work could be the upper left portion of a circle, if the center point and radius are chosen properly.
