You can put this solution on YOUR website!
solve 9-4/5 (u-3)>1
:
9 - 4%2F5(u-3) > 1
Subtract 9 from both sides
-4%2F5(u-3) > 1 - 9
-4%2F5(u-3) > -8
Get rid of the neg, mult by -1, this reverses the inequality sign
4%2F5(u-3) < 8
multiply both sides by 5
4(u - 3) < 40
4u - 12 < 40
Add 12 to both sides
4u < 52
u < 52/4
u < 13
