(X^2 - 4)/(9 - x^2) Answer by 303795(602) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! The bottom (or denominator) of the problem cannot be equal to zero as division by zero is undefined.
ie (9 - x^2)cannot equal zero.
Factorise (9 - x^2)
ie(3-x)(3+x) cannot equal zero.
So x cannot be equal to 3 and it cannot be equal to -3.
