You can put this solution on YOUR website!

Let  x  be the number of ten dollar bills June has.

Then the number of five dollar bills in her possession is  x+10.

In total,  June has  10x + 5(x+10)  dollars,  which is  $95.

It gives you an equation

10x + 5(x+10) = 95.

Solve it step by step:

10x + 5x + 50 = 95,

15x = 95 -50,

15x = 45,

x = 45%2F15 = 3.

Hence,  June has  3  10-dollar bills and  3 + 10 = 13  of  5-dollar bills.
