Question 984850: My son entered 8th grade this year and enrolled in Algebra 1. To this point I have been able to assist him with his homework. Tonight however there is one problem left of twenty that he didn't solve.
Given the operations (), +, -, and x(multiplication), write an equation so the answer is 18. We've gotten everything but 18 for an answer every way we can think to write it. I'm beginning to think there was a typo in his homework.
Thank you for your time and any assistance is greatly appreciated.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Given the operations (), +, -, and x(multiplication), write an equation so the answer is 18. We've gotten everything but 18 for an answer every way we can think to write it.
================
(1 + 4 - 2) x 6 = 18 is one.
