: I'm having trouble with half of this problem.
+%283%2F8%29x+%3C+-6+ or +5x+%3E+2+
I think I have the answer for the second part of the question. You would have to divide both sides by 5 which would make the answer +x+%3E+2%2F5+ But I can't figure out how to do the first part with that fraction in there. Please help me solve this problem!!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
+%283%2F8%29x+%3C+-6+ Start with the given inequality

+cross%28%288%2F3%29%283%2F8%29%29x+%3C+-6%288%2F3%29+ Multiply both sides by 8%2F3 this will eliminate the entire fraction on the left side

x+%3C+-48%2F3+ Multiply

x+%3C+-16+ Divide

So the first part of the solution is x+%3C+-16+ and you have the second part correct
