 All you need to do is to open up the bracket and solve the resulting quadraric equation.
 NOW,SEE THE WORKING:
 (2x-3)(x+2)=4
 open up bracket and collect like terms as follows;
 2x²+4x-3x-6-4=0
 Then you have,
 2x²+x-10=0
 You can now solve the quadratic equation by any method of your choice.
 TO ME, I PREFER FACTORIZATION METHOD.
 This gives;
 (2x+5)(x-2)=0
 from the above,
 x=5/2 or x=2
